The Wilmington Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Improvements project encompasses several critical upgrades and installations aimed at enhancing water treatment processes and infrastructure. The project involves the demolition of existing chlorine equipment to make way for the installation of new PAC (Powdered Activated Carbon) building and basins. Additionally, the scope includes the incorporation of new fluoride equipment and associated piping, as well as the integration of sodium hypochlorite equipment and its accompanying piping system. Furthermore, miscellaneous yard piping was installed alongside the construction of a new masonry building, involving plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work to ensure the seamless functioning of the upgraded systems within the WTP.
